The two first met back in the 80s, and Dan Gor, who was a DJ at the time, left a profound impression on Danny Summer with his insightful interviews. Dan Gor explains his reason for agreeing to handle priority booking: back in his DJ days, whenever he played Danny Summer's songs '童年時' (Childhood), '交叉點' (Crossroads), '空櫈' (Empty Chair), and '說不出的未來' (Unspeakable Future), he would insert a story or monologue, deeply touching listeners by the radio and establishing his unique hosting style that became a collective memory for a generation. Reuniting with Chen Xiao Chun, the 'Disciple'

Danny Summer and Chen Xiao Chun (陳小春) first played the roles of 'Chen Jin Nan' and 'Wei Xiao Bao' in the 1998 TVB drama 'The Duke of Mount Deer', portraying a mentor-disciple relationship. To this day, Chen Xiao Chun respectfully addresses Danny Summer as 'Master', and their bond remains strong. Recently, Danny Summer invited his 'disciple' Chen Xiao Chun to be a guest on a TVB special titled 'Danny's Last Summer: Guitar, Tears, and Childhood'. In a promotional video for Danny Summer's 'LAST SUMMER' concert, Chen Xiao Chun hinted at a reunion of the mentor-disciple duo during the concert.
